Which is the better choice - Ancient/Traditional or ‘Modern/New Age’ Practice?

 ncient and traditional practices have stood the test of time, regardless of the intervention of modern science or so called conventional experts. The often overlooked fact is that regardless of whether science has found a working explanation for them or not, if they didn’t work they wouldn’t still be here! The good news is however that some Quantum Physicists are finding ways to ‘prove’ how these everyday miracles occur and so much of the ‘Alternative’ is now being welcomed into the ‘conventional’. Science is finally catching up with what the ancients have been ‘telling’ us for years!
s more people seek answers and become more ‘conscious’ or aware of what the complementary world offers, new therapies rise up. Although many are adaptations of existing practices, in most cases the fundamental principle behind them is the same as the ancient practices, that of ‘energy manipulation’.
Of the ‘newer ‘ therapies some will stay and others will inevitably go; time (and now the more informed quantum physicists) will eventually prove their efficacy.

What does ‘Alternative’ mean?
|
|
 guess ‘Alternative’ means anything that doesn’t follow the convention of medical science and orthodox religion. But, some orthodox religions are already exercising many of these ‘alternative’ practices under a different guise - that of prayer, dance, visualisation and symbolism! And interestingly, science is now exploring alternative practices, and in particular quantum physics is ‘proving’ what ancient cultures have known for a long time - so how long will it be before what is currently termed as ‘alternative’ becomes the norm?
New Age?
t amuses me when people use the term ‘new-age’ practices, because in reality these practices are Old-Age - Ancient in some cases!
Do they work?
he easy answer is, if they didn’t work, they quite simply wouldn’t still be around 1000 years, 2000 years and in some cases, 40,000 years on!
Carl Sagan wrote something along the lines of: “extraordinary claims require
extraordinary evidence”
However, the only way you’re really going to know if they are going to work for you is through Experience – your own!!
