Crystal Healing and Crystal Therapy are terms given to different practices, which utilize the unique power of crystals to manipulate energy within the body or the environment. Image Courtesy of Roz Hancock  Crystal Mamma verview Crystals have long been held to have healing properties with documented evidence of use dating back to around 2500 BC, with the Papyrus Elbers. Also the Greek pharmacist, Dioscorides (1st century A.D.), categorized over 2000 crystals for ‘healing’ in his Materia Medica, (volume 5). The ancient Egyptians were also purported to have used Quartz crystal to ‘harness and direct the sun’s rays’ onto afflicted areas on the body. Aborigines and other native cultures  have over time, and still do, use crystals for visions, healing and power.   Even modern technology recognises and utilizes crystalline properties for storing, transforming and amplifying energy.   rystal Healing and Crystal Therapy come under the category of ‘Vibrational Medicine’. The reason for this is that crystals emit a consistent vibrating field of ‘organised’ energy. The theory is that when a weak unorganised field of energy is brought into a strong organised field, the weaker field comes into entrainment or resonance - that is it matches the rate or frequency of vibration with that of the more ‘organised’ field.
