An Introduction to the Magical world of
Witchcraft & Wicca

Why is it that after years of persecution Witchcraft is still being widely practiced today? And indeed, why is it there’s such a growing interest in it? You’ve only got to look at the amount of web sites popping-up to see something is on the move. Even the ‘better class’ bookshops now stock everything from Spell books to relatively hard-core Witchy reading!
But with the possibility of ridicule (from friends) and attack from certain factions (who think it’s devil worship) why would anyone want to get involved?
What is the fascination?
What is the draw?
Maybe it’s the idea of dressing up in a pointy hat and a long black cloak. Or the notion of running naked around woodland late at night! Or perhaps even having the ability to turn all your enemies into slimy green toads!
On a more serious note, could it be that we’re lacking the ‘real magic’ in our lives? And if so, what is this ‘magic’?
Can Witchcraft or Wicca really give it back to us?
Will it help us to reconnect to that ‘specialness’, that Divine Sacredness?
That deep longing of something we once knew so well?
